32 1/2 weeks

I really ought to take a picture. The days come and go and I always seem to forget!

For the most part, I’ve been feeling pretty good.  Some days I’m extremely tired while others I’m full of energy. Although I’ve had way more tired days than I have energetic days. I’m still trying to get to the gym 3- 4 times a week- that’s my goal anyhow. Sometimes I don’t think it does any good but I keep on chuggin.
The other day I had what I think were braxton hick contractions. I mean, I think that’s what they are. How do you know what things are if you’ve never been pregnant before?! What else could they be right? I looked it up online briefly so I can get a good idea of what to expect, or how to tell them apart between actual contractions.
So to educate ourselves:
– Braxton hicks don’t get closer together while true labor contractions do
– Braxton hicks don’t get stronger, while true labor contractions do.
– Braxton hicks are only felt in the front while true labor contractions are usually felt all over.
– Braxton hicks doesn’t change the cervix while true labor opens up the cervix with contractions.
phew. I’m defiantly only experiencing braxton hick contractions!  (Try saying “braxton hick contractions” 10 times fast..)
Well, I think it’s time for a nap.

  1. totally late but as a 4-timer and wanna be CBE, i gotta correct you a *little* bit. :0)– Braxton hicks don’t get closer together while true labor contractions doactually, they can. – Braxton hicks don’t get stronger, while true labor contractions do. actually, they can.– Braxton hicks are only felt in the front while true labor contractions are usually felt all over. never felt a ctx anywhere but the front.– Braxton hicks doesn’t change the cervix while true labor opens up the cervix with contractions. BH do open and thin the cervix, just in tiny increments, in preparation for the real deal. i was at 6cm when labor began… bh opened my cervix to 6.just my forty two cents LOL :0)(btw… im 3pink1blue on MDC, we always chat in the writing forum.)
