I bought a box of the farm animal cards and I love them. They are double sided, black and white, and super cute. Now the question is, what can I do with them besides just let baby play/look at them?
I was thinking about making a mobile, but I don’t know if they’re quite the right size or shape. So, I don’t know if that would work well. I also considered just putting them on the wall next to baby’s crib but they are a little too small and the black and white looks incredibly bad against my dark brown walls. 🙂
So.. any creative suggestions?
I have some of those! You can see how I used them here: http://domesticdork.blogspot.com/2009/02/lucys-room.html
A distraction next to the changing table is great. Actually, I give books, cars, toys, etc. to my kids during a diaper change to keep them still. Maybe keep them until later and use them for diaper changes.
You said in the mckmama post that velcro sticks to everything in a cloth diaper what you do is the diaper has tabs that you fold the velcro on and it keeps it from sticking to other things. look in the diaper and youll see little squares youll attach the velcro to that before you wash (or after each diaper change so you don’t have to touch the poopy afterwards. >>I love bumgenius and fuzzi bunz I have owned a ton of cloth diapers and would STEAR CLEAR of happy heineys (they suck no matter what people say, me and 2 friends have them and they are INFERIOR and don’t hold up) and pocket change.
thanks for the tip on cloth diapers anonymous!! 🙂
