Weekend Reflection

Courtesy of Healthy Mom’s, I’m participating in Weekend Reflection for the first time!
This week has been nothing short of “normal” around here. Wake up, play with baby, feed baby, walk around with baby, etc, etc, etc…. This week I’ve been really working on getting Lucas into some sort of schedule, a flexible one, but at least a base. If I don’t encourage a nap, he will fight it and end up being grumpy the rest of the day. So I’ve been working on teaching him that it’s “nap time.” When he naps, mom and baby are much happier and well rested and our days are full of play and smiles rather than frustration!
I haven’t been able to get to the gym much this week, which is a shame considering it was the first week of Body After Baby. Nights have just been too busy, and my motivation at 9:00pm is quite low and non-existent.  I would have looked pretty ridiculous crying while exercising on the elliptical watching Grey’s Anatomy anyway. Did anyone see this week’s show?! Bring me the tissues!
I can’t believe the weekend is here, but I’m so happy for it! Weekends mean that I get TWO full days of my husband! We’re going to spend lots of time doing family things, and you know- just staring at our cute baby. What else would we do?

Have a blessed weekend everybody!
Head on over to Healthy Mom’s and join along in Weekend Reflection- I bet it would really make her day!
