Body After Baby: Fit by Labor Day

* Updated: I’m loving all the great pics people are sending me!! I have a lot of you wondering what you should wear and honestly, wear whatever you want! So far I have people in bra/pants, bra/panties, swimsuit, shirts/pants… so anything is great! And a front and side back is what most people are doing.

Starting Monday July 13th we will begin an 8 week “Fit by Labor Day” Challenge. This is an 8 week challenge within Body After Baby Challenge. Here are the details!

  • Date of challenge: July 13th -September 7th
  • Send me your “before” picture by Sunday (7/12) All before pictures will go up on Monday. So yes- everyone will see them. Cut your head off if you want!
  • I will say “this is ….” with a link back to your blog. If you want to be anonymous please make sure you let me know, otherwise I will include your name/blog link.
  • You do not have to have a blog to join.
  • If you want to include one or two sentences about your goal for the 8 weeks you may- you want to lose 5 pounds, you want to fit into those pants, you want to lose 10 pounds.. just keep it under two sentences.
  • Remember these are your goals just for these 8 weeks.
  • All sizes/shapes/weights are welcome.
  • This is about being the best you. Not comparing yourselves to others.
  • You can be 1 week postpartum or 5 years- doesn’t matter.
  • Pictures may be taken however you wish. Fully clothed, in a swimsuit, in bra and underwear, in shorts and tank top- whatever you feel comfortable with.
  • I would recommend taking a front picture and a side picture- so we can really see the difference in 8 weeks!!

  • You will send me your “after” pictures during the last week. All after pictures will go up on September 7th. (Next to your before picture of course!)
  • Every week we will continue with Mr Linky and you may add your link if you wish on your progress and how things are going. (Just like we’ve been doing…)
  • You don’t have to send in your pictures to continue to do the Mr. Linky format of Body After Baby
  • You can also send in your pics for the 8 week challenge and not participate in the Body After Baby challenge with Mr Linky on Mondays. You can do either or both.
  • At then end of 8 weeks we will nominate our favorite ” player” (participant/women/awesome person??) for different categories. I can’t guarantee anything yet, but I’m hoping we will have fun prizes for the winners!
  • YES I will be posting a picture of myself as well. ( I don’t know what in yet.) 🙂

  1. I'm excited! The last week is going to be REALLY hard because I will be on vacation for the last 10 days of the challenge. Hopefully I'll make good progress BEFORE the vacay!

  3. okay so do i just email you pictures?? ahh that's scary!! hahaha!! i try to avoid “body” pictures! just the face usually!!
    i'm in my 9th week of dieting/lifestyle change…so far i've lost 15ish september i hope to have lost a total of 30 pounds!! more would be awesome!! my longterm goal is 65 pounds by december 31st!!

    You don't need a blog. Mr Linky is a tool that bloggers use so if you don't have a blog it won't apply to you.

  6. I am so glad to have found this. I'll have to try to remember whose link brought me here…but I was just thinking I needed accountability (as srr) said as well as support. And really, after you post your “before” pictures online…what'll make you more accountable than that! LOL. Hope you still have space.
