The Real Diaper Association is launching the Real Diapers, Real Babies Photo Contest this week. The winning photos (12 of them!) will be on the pages of the first annual RDA Calendar.

Proceeds from calender sales will help to fund the RDA’s support of local cloth diaper advocacy and education as well as special projects like the joint project with the Real Diaper Industry Association to facilitate the use of cloth diapers in daycare setting.

I wanted to let you know about this because not only is it a great way to spread the word on cloth diapering but there are also prizes for the winners!! Good prizes!

  1. mckdrama's PC pled guilty to DV charge which prevented him from going to Boston~restraining order that prevented him from contact~jail time, probation, anger management courses, required counseling and lots of other stuff~~she may claim to live in a glass house, but she doesn't tell the truth~

  2. Such a cute picture! And such a good cause…a good friend of mine can't cd because daycare won't allow it and her daughter has horrible rashes!

And what on earth does the comment about MckMama have to do with RDA?

  3. I just wanted to say good luck to everyone!

I am Monique, the owner of Mama Momo. I am a part of the RDA team that is working to get cloth diapers into more day cares.

Lauren, let me know what state your friend is in. I can help her find ways to get her little one into cloth. In her case, it sounds like it is really needed. There is no excuse for her not to be able to!

My son had rashes as well. Cloth was the only thing that helped him. We were already CDing at home. Our DC said no. I did the research for my state and found in my case, they were required to let me with the help of a doctor. I brought the diapers in and now they ALL want to use cloth and ask me to bring in new prints all the time. They have so much fun with it! And they were amazed that he didn't have blow outs anymore!

So if anyone needs help, please contact me!

Again, good luck to everyone that enters 🙂
