I rented 17 Again.
I brought the movie home and told my husband we were going to watch a movie. A cute movie!
And he was all, “I actually feel like less of a man knowing that movie is in my house.” And I’m like, WHATEVER.
What he didn’t know was that Chandler was in it. Men are so funny. They hate The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars and The Notebook, yet they can’t. get. off. the. couch. must. watch. even. though. I. say. I. hate. it. So he watched it with me and we both laughed a lot. Actually, I think my husband laughed more than me but shhhhh. You knowing that will be our little secret.
Who’s a man now?
It was a cute movie. I liked it. I came this close to shedding a few romantic comedy tears and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t because I’d hate to admit that a boy from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL made my weepy.
My favorite part was the cheerleader dance. I was a cheerleader for 7 years. I’ll tell you about it some time. I can guarantee you that times have changed. For goodness sakes can’t we keep what our mamas gave us to strictly bedroom dancing in front of the mirror material?!
Was the daughter Harriet the Spy ’cause it totally looked like her.
And yes, I think Zac is a cutie, like duh, although I would suggest he visit his hair stylist for a little trim. Maybe I take that back. Not sure actually, I am still deciding. If you type Zac Efron in google and look at images, you’ll see what I mean about his cuteness. Try it.
To clarify, I don’t really wish I was 17 again. I just stayed up past midnight watching a movie with my high school crush. I’m pretty sure when I was 17 I had to be home by 11. LAME. Okay, okay, I do wish I had my 17 body back and my 17 cool jeans and my 17 free hair cut and highlights. That was sweet.
When I was 17, I had to be home and Jared gone by NINE!
Seriously.
It WAS a cute movie. 🙂
I loved being 17!!! I'd love my 17 body back too! And yes that was the same girl as Harriet the Spy. 🙂
Was a little unsure about this movie, but I think I'll add it to the Netflix list now!

Aw! I loved this movie too. It was NOT what I thought it was going to be. It surprised me for the better!
thanks for the recommendash!! WE will have to check it out.
oh and I definitely LOLed when you said your husband “felt like less of a man…” 'cause that is SOO my husband too. He WILL watch The Notebook (my favorite) with me and has come close to admitting he likes it. Though after any romantic comedy he usually has to add some comment like “I need to go lift weights and eat some raw meat now.” You know, so he can feel like a real man again. whatever.
hehe I love the way you explain movies and tv shows. I liked the movie too!!
