Share Your Prayer Request

I pray and hope that this website can be a blessing to others and that good will come from the things I write and the little community that is here. When an idea came to me in bed this morning, I decided I have to run with it.

I’m going to put Mr Linky up and if you want to write about your prayer request/needs/praises on your blog- you can leave that link here. I figure the more people that are able to see our request and hear our praises, the better. So what a great tool for Mr Linky! If you wrote a request a week ago- that’s fine. Just leave that post url. The point is that we can visit each other and pray for each other and see God’s work being done.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, be prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

…”The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

  1. Having a hard time deciding what to do about work. I've always loved my job. I've been there 5 years & made it through 4 rounds of layoffs. But I really want to be at home with my son. And I can't continue to work 60 hours while getting paid for 40. Pray that I will make the right decision?

  2. I don't mean to be rude, but it seems strange that you would mention God at all after your profanity post the other day. I thought that was completely unnecessary, and I don't think God is pleased with it.

  3. first of all, i'm so glad you posted this. i actually just posted a “praise” on my blog!!

and we are moving in 2 weeks!!! prayer for the move to go smoothly!!

  4. Interesting, Anonymous #2 – God isn't just for perfect people. And I'm pretty sure he views your unnecessary judgmental remark as far more unpleasing than a couple of the most mild bad words. This is certainly not a profane blog. If everyone who used the words crap and ass were determined not worthy to even mention God at all, there would be hardly anyone who could consider themselves a believer.

I'm happy to sign my name to this and stand behind my comment.

  5. Dear anonymous- God doesn't hold grudges nor does he want his followers casting guilt on others. Maybe you stopped reading the Bible too early and you missed the part about forgivness and turning another cheek? She doesn't write this blog to be judged by YOU. If you really wanted to be heard next time peek your head out from behind your anonymous shield.

  6. I agree with Zealandsmom. You shouldn't be judgemental annonymous #2. If you don't like it, don't read it. No one is perfect and God is still loving and forgiving. I've messed up plenty in my life and I know God still loves me the same. And I know he loves you even when your judgemental towards other people.

    P.S.
Please pray for my husband. He's stopped going to Church and will not come with me. And pray for his family, they really need it. Thanks!

  7. Hey…sheesh, are those comments interesting? I received one, once, when I posted something about “Super Powers”…apparently that was un-Christian of me. Huh, didn't know that a little innocent fun or “your horrible potty mouth” (huh, ass, crap??? where's the f-bomb???) were un-Christian things.
Hugs to you! Don't let the “nay-sayer” get you down, sucks, I know…but don't let it get to you!

  8. I think thats awesome! I do a Reiki share on my blog, and I get so much out of it. It is great just to know you are helping spread a little love and positive thought around. My little heathen prayers go out to you! Speaking as a Pagan, you are a good, loving Christian living her faith, not beating people over the head with it! Bless you!

  9. What a great post! I need prayer for my sanity as a mother at night…..I get so exhausted with Josh away for so long at work and then night I just want to be alone….but I have children to take care of. God is there and he will give me wisdom and stregnth!

  10. Prayers are needed for my wonderful, irreplaceable mother in law. She is battling breast cancer, as well as diabetes. It's a surprisingly difficult combination to deal with. peace and love to you all.

  11. This is a wonderful post you made, praying for others is more powerful than praying for yourself. I pray for all the parents who are suffering for any deceases or encountering adversities in life. May we all have the peace of mind and God bless us.
