It’s the Last Week of Body After Baby

This is the 8th week and our very last week of this 8 week session of Body After Baby. This challenge officially ends on Sunday! I have noticed over the weeks that the amount of links and comments is slowly dwindling.  I’m so proud of those of you who have stayed with this for the entire 8 weeks! You guys  rock and you should be happy and proud of yourself!

As I said, this challenge ends Sunday. If you have been playing along with the mini challenges and keeping track of points, please email me your total number of points.  Please be flexible with me as I will be in transition and moving to another state, but sometime during the first week in December I will pick the top 5 people who have the most points. Those people will be notified and have a chance to submit to me their before/after pictures if they choose and/or to blog about why they think they should win the overall challenge.

Then, the top 5 people will be showcased on this blog, and the voting will begin! Specific details to come… so stay tuned! And remember, the grand prize winner is getting a $50 gift certificate to a great online store: Mama Momoall things mom and baby. Unfortunately I am not able to offer a prize for 2nd place.

  1. I didn't keep up with points either… because it wasn't actually about winning the challenge for me, it was about finally taking care of myself. I've said it before, but I'll say it again – THANK YOU for doing this! It was just what I needed to get my butt into gear. There might only be one week left in the challenge but I am just getting started. I fully intend to get back to the weight I was at my wedding. It might take a while, but dang it, I'm going to do it 🙂 So thanks for the motivation. Even though I didn't keep track of points, I've lost 13 lbs so far, so I already feel like I've won 🙂 Thanks again!

  2. I've never linked up, but I've been participating! I've lost 10 pounds! Woo Hoo! I'm sure I'm no where close to the top 5 with my points, but I'm happy with the bottom line!

  3. Thanks so much for doing this (and that I somehow managed to find it).

    I lost 26.3 lbs, and I thought the 15 that I wanted to lose for this challenge was pushing it.

    I'm planning on putting before/after pictures up this weekend, once the challenge is over.

  4. I hope you do another Body After Baby challenges soon! I had my baby 4 weeks ago, so obviously I couldn't participate in this one. But I would love to be part of the next one!

  5. I am amazed by Melinda!!!!!!!

    I haven't done as great as I'd hoped but I did learn a few things and come up with some goals for 2010!

    As far as points go, I THINK there were 531 possible and I got 503. My math could be wrong as far as possible points go, though.

    Loved being part of this and will do it again if you do another one once you get settled in the Great White North!

  6. I just wanted to say thank you to Samantha and thank you for all you women who have done this challenge with me, it's been one of the most successful 8 week I have ever had at weight loss and I'm glad we could all help each other get one step closer to our goals.
