Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego

Do you remember that show? Is it a show? I don’t remember, I just remember that name.
Maybe it’s a song or a game. Don’t remember. Don’t care.
That’s not my point here.
(But this is the picture that Google gave me so this must be Carmen. But doesn’t she know that her hair is red and so is her hat and jacket and belt- so why is her hair red?)
It’s funny to me, to look at a map and see where I live now.
Just like in the middle of nowhere.
Oh hey guys!

It doesn’t even look like I live in the United States. No, my state is outside the United States.

It’s not even connected to you!
I find that sort of funny, sort of sad and sort of weird.
Actually, I don’t think I’m ever going to look at a map again.
I hated Geography anyways.
Where do you live?
Tell me.

  1. I loved that cartoon! My sis and I had the Carmen Sandiego computer game and it was very educational! I still remember all of the country's capitols! I'm in TX which is in the continental US.

  2. Columbus OH here! And Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego was a game show.. i don't remember when it came on or anything about it.. but i do remember watching it as a child.

  3. I am in Kansas, just under an hour west of Kansas City. And, me and my siblings loved watching the show on PBS after school every day. I can still sing the theme song.

  4. I remember watching that show as a kid!

I live in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. I want to go up and visit Alaska so much especially listening to my sister-in-laws stories of growing up in Anchorage, Alaska.

  5. Wasn't that a video game too? I remember it from grade school….

I live in Bear Country….aka anonymous location in bloggerville, but my BIL lives in Valdez – not too far from you it looks like from the map.
