I wish I could paint this picture for you. You’ll just have to imagine.
I’m 6 months pregnant. I’m wearing a pink skirt and a black shirt. I call my husband because his truck won’t start. He tires to explain to me what I need to do over the phone. Here I am, lifting the hood and trying to get it to stay up. He instructs me to “pull on the wire.” And he is serious. Pull on a wire? You want me to pull on a wire? Which wire? He gives me directions, I figure it out, and the car starts.
It’s funny because I was doing it with a big stomach, and things are funnier when you’re pregnant and trying to lean over a truck with your stomach in the way. Trust me, it’s funny.
Just laugh with me.
Here is a really attractive picture I took of myself the other day.
My boobs and stomach are growing rapidly and they think they’re in charge of my body. Do you know what I mean? If you’ve been pregnant, you know what I mean. Unless you’re Heidi Klum, and if you are, than please don’t talk to me. Its as if your boobs and stomach become one. There isn’t much separation going on. You look down and it’s just all one glob.
I really need to go shopping because right now I’ve got about 5 shirts that fit me. I’m on a rotation here, and while I’m perfectly fine with it, I think there might be something in the employee handbook at work that addresses how often you’re allowed to wear the same clothes.
I have a lot of thoughts about pregnancy. I want to write about working out during pregnancy, and I will soon. Us mamas need to come together and encourage one another to get some exercise. It is so important and I have been totally lacking in the area.
We need to talk about this.
I watched the movie, The Business of Being Born and I have a lot of thoughts on it. I will write a separate post on it soon, and share some of my thoughts with you.
At what point in a pregnancy do you start waddling? I can’t remember, but I’m sure I will soon enough.
