We’ve Got a Head, Folks!

*updated: Lucas threw up twice in an hour, after I put him to bed. We must have both ate something bad, or caught the same bug. I’m hoping he doesn’t throw up again in the middle of the night…poor guy.*

I feel like crap today. Really really awful. I think it might be something I ate yesterday. I’m not telling you to get sympathy (although if you want to come over and do my laundry, you can) I’m just writing. At first I thought it was all in my head. I really think our minds are SO powerful, and I kept thinking, maybe I’m just being a whimp. Tell yourself you feel fine! You feel fine!!ย

But I don’t feel fine. So I guess it’s not in my head.

I’m hoping this thing is just a stomach virus type thing and not the start of labor. I’m sure it’s not. I don’t remember what the start of labor feels like, and I don’t think at this point I can tell the difference between labor and just an upset stomach.

Anyways, I had my last appointment at the hospital today (THANK GOD) and the little lady did a quick ultrasound on the lower half of my belly and saw A HEAD! I am really excited, even though I’m not acting like it. I asked her how she knew it was a head and not a butt and she told me, because it looks like a head.

Well, right. Obviously. Get ‘yur panties out of a bunch.

It’s such a relief to know that baby is head down and in the right position.

I think I’m just going to sit here and try to figure out what my stomach is doing. Or lie down, but I’m sick of lying down.
