Birth Ball

39 weeks and 5 days. Let me write that differently.

Thirty Nine Weeks and Five Days Pregnant.

(I just like the look of that better.)

I’m doing good, just hangin’ out.

Today at Target, Lucas picked out a ball that he wanted. We tried to avoid getting it because it’s rather large but he practically threw a fit when we rolled past it, so he got it. When we got home he started to sit on it- just like his mama!

So cute.

I’m not sure, but I think he said hi baby right here.

I KNOW there is a perfect timing for this baby to come. I KNOW he/she has to finish growing and will come when ready. I KNOW it is out of my control. I KNOW there is a perfect plan and I just need to sit back and wait for it. I KNOW all of these things.

It’s just reminding myself that’s the hard part. 🙂

  1. So sweet! I love it when the little ones emulate us! 🙂

And, as a side note, I lurved my birth ball. I was literally on it my entire labor. HUUUUGE savior for me. Huge.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. Enjoy ever minute! It's almost over.

  2. I too loved my birth ball… I think I would have gone mad without it – especially since Master Daniel took 34hours to finally make his way into this world…

Both my boys arrived late, so I know how hard it is to wait out the last couple of days.. wondering each morning, “is today the day?”.. hang in there mamma.. you are almost done..

Can't wait to see pics and hear the birth story!

  3. You are almost there mama. Just think – within the next couple weeks you will be holding your little one and will be thinking that you miss being pregnant. 🙂 It will happen when it is time! Hugs and Labor dust!
