He Paints Again

Today was grandmas birthday, so Lucas painted her a picture! This was his 2nd painting- 1st one is here done at 15 months and is hanging on our wall. I want to have him paint us a picture or do another piece of large art every few months so I can collect them in our house!

Almost 5 months later…. his skills are improving. This time he got out the paintbrush.

So artistic! 🙂

He seemed to enjoy himself.

This paint is totally washable and really easy to wash off the table and chairs with just water. It makes
painting fun and a pretty easy clean up!

I don’t know who has more fun here! Me getting some great pictures of him playing with paint! We got the canvas at Michaels Crafts (2 for $9) and the paint is about $5 for 4 tubs which last a while.  And, like I said, the clean up is really easy. This is a great craft for kids and can make a great gift or a great decoration for your home!

Happy painting!

  1. So much fun! My boys and I painted pumpkins yesterday (Sooo much easier than carving). They had a great time. I bought some canvas to do one of these but haven't done it yet!

  2. That is awesome. My kids love to paint but the mess is always a pain to clean up. I will have to try out the crayola ones you have.
You have a little artist on your hands. 🙂

  3. love this! the paintbrush in the mouth pic is so awesome, you have to frame a copy of it and give it along with the painting!

i would love to try this with jordan. i even already got the canvases, but darn it all, he just wants to eat the paint.
