I pretend to be okay with my stretch marks, but they actually really bug me.
Yesterday I practically begged, pleaded, asked, encouraged Lucas to watch a Mickey Mouse show on the Disney Channel while I (tried to) nurse Joshua in peace. It didn’t work. He doesn’t have any interest in TV shows.
This morning I ate a glazed donuts for breakfast. (The baby wanted it!!)
My only two week old is already using a pacifier. He totally loves it and while I’m really thankful it keeps him happy, I still hate pacifiers.
I wrote an entire blog post about being outside an hour a day… but then didn’t get outside at all yesterday. Darn.
:: What do you confess? Leave it in the comments! It will make you (and me!) feel better. I’ll add more throughout the day as I think of them… or as they happen. 🙂
I confess that I wait til my kids go to bed and then have chocolate milk most nights. The baby needs me to get extra calcium 🙂 I also confess that my middle child will be 3 in 2 1/2 weeks and still uses a pacifier. My hubby says not to buy any if she loses the ones she has, but I confess, right now, I would probably buy her more when he wasn't looking…
Yippee! This is a great trend. You know where to find my confessions 😉
I too hate my stretch marks.
I let my kids drink koolaid
I take a nap every day even though I sleep 6-8 hours at night.
🙂 I hope those help you feel a little better too.
Sarah,
I nap too… even when I get 8 hours! 🙂
I let my kiddo watch tv to keep her entertained while I get stuff done, or like right now, while I comment on your blog!
I give my daughter an extra nap sometimes just because I want one.
I sign up for extra shifts at work (usually only work 2 days) because I need a break from the stay at home mom duties. Work is so much easier.
I was supposed to clean my bathrooms today while my kids were at preschool, I spent the entire time at the mall.
A couple of times a week I go to bed right after I put my kids to bed (at 7pm!)
I had cookies for breakfast, and there was no baby to blame!
Oh I love these! Thanks for sharing mamas!
I drink Crystal Light even though I'm pregnant and I know that the artificial sugars aren't good.
I like to watch the Biggest Loser while eating the most unhealthy food I can find in the kitchen.
I haven't worked out in months!
I want my children to hear words of the Fruit of the Spirit in our home but I said the f-word after stubbing my toe last week.
I had chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. 😉
I'm on the computer instead of making ornaments like I want to be doing…
I had my husband bring home pizza tonight instead of making something. Though in my defense we were out of almost everything (he did the grocery shopping too).
I'm pregnant and still drink caffeine sometimes. I let my daughter watch Yo Gabba Gabba every morning while I shower. My daughter (21 months) can recognize Starbucks, she calls it baa-daa, and loves it. She walks right in and goes straight for the little pouches of squeezable fruit.
looked through old pictures the other day and long for that body back
hate my stretch mark and am jealous of woman who have none, especially my mom who had twins
woke up hungry in the middle of the night and at Doritos despite wanting my thin body back
sometimes bribe my child to get him to do what I want/need
am jealous of my husband cause he does not have to wake up to feed the baby in the middle of the night
Sometimes I hide what I eat so my kid doesn't see. I dont' want to share.
I had chips and salsa for breakfast the other morning.
My kid watches tv several hours a day, it does help me get things done, one of those things being blogging/facebook!
Bribe my kid with candy to use the potty.
Hi…following you from Friday Blog Hop!
http://www.funatkensingtonkids.blogspot.com
Try Barney to keep him entertained while you nurse… my lil one didn't like animated ANYTHING until recently! The real kids and the songs grabed her attention when I needed some peace. There are also some good DVDs out there of kids singing Biblical songs. The Wheels on The Bus, I think it was called? She LOVED it again because it was real kids singing and dancing and not animated.
Just caught this.
I made it 7 1/2 months without getting any stretch marks, and now, they are popping out like crazy. I'm wondering how much bigger I can get in the next 8 weeks. I might end up being a giant stretch mark.
Oh, and eating well while pregnant is so much harder than I thought it would be. Between a new, more sedentary job, the prego munchies I'm blowing up like a whale.
