{Please don’t get overly excited about the title of this post.}
Lucas has finally caught on to the sign “thank you!” Today I said ” say thank you” like I always do and he actually did it. I couldn’t believe it. We taught him water last week and he tries to do it and it’s just the cutest thing. The signs for water and thank you are similar in that they’re both by your chin- but he usually does the variations quite well. In this video however they look pretty similar.
This was during lunch time so he was a little tired.
We have been working on our letters a little bit. I’m specifically working on M, B and D right now. The other day I asked him what M said and he said Mama- then we went to B and he said Bubba and I was so proud!! Sometimes he says the right answers and I think he really does understand, other times he just says mama to everything I ask him. 🙂
LOVE!
That is so awesome! We do signs with our daughter as well! We started them about a year ago (she's 2 1/2) and she's getting the hang of it better now. She is developmentally delayed due to a birth defect so signing is our only means of communication with her for now. She is doing more, please, thank you, drink, eat, daddy, baby, open and close, night night(bed), apple, bath, and a few others we are working on!
Samantha–so adorable. He is getting so good at his words and signing. Thank-you for making the video and sharing! XO Aunt Judy
So cute! Thanks for sharing 🙂
