Army Crawl

The weather this winter in Alaska has been pretty strange. This is only our 2nd winter here, but from what we would expect and from what we’ve been told, the snow we’re seeing this winter is…. not very much. It’s so weird! One week it’s freezing and in the negative temperatures and a couple weeks later it’s “warm” and snowing.  Thankfully this week and last has been really great and it finally snowed a bit.

It’s been perfect weather (25-35 degrees) for playing outside, and I certainly have an outdoor boy on me.

He was literally crawling through the snow. It was so funny.

How’s the weather where you’re at? I’m hearing that a lot of people are snowed in! Send some of your snow my way if you want!

  1. Just told my husband tonight that it is unusual for our parts (Missouri) to see snow in huge mounds in parking lots. Those have been building for weeks and we are supposed to get more next week. We've seen a lot for us this winter. And this week we got like 3in of sleet. Not so much fun but very pretty!

  2. Looks like he had a blast. Friday I took Zach out to play in the snow for the first time. He had a blast!!! I will have to put up some picks on my blog. We have a ton of snow this winter so far, but ours melts and then it snows again. Thanks for sharing the pics. 🙂
