Day 2 of P90X: Plyometrics is done.
This exercise video consist of a lot of jumping. Jumping squats, jumping lunges, jumping puddles, high knee jumping and any other variation of jumping that you can think of. I think (hope) that this will help me with my running! My knees were definitely feeling it, which is due to the fact that there are a lot of jumping movements, but also because they simply aren’t used to it.
This was the part when I wanted to curl up on the couch and watch Gilmore Girls.
Can we just talk about how un-coordinated I am? Some exercises require brain power + fancy foot coordination. Okay, so my left foot goes here while my right hand does this and then I jump back and put my right hand to the left side and then… what? I should have done this video in high school. It could have helped my moves out on the dance floor!
{You know, Nelly after football game dances. You went to those, right??}
This is my sweet Joshua watching me exercise. He loves it!
I didn’t do the warm up which nicely shaves about 4-5 minutes off the total time. I feel like running around and picking up kids all day is a good enough warm up. At least when I’m short on time and need to finish a workout before nap time is over, I might have to cut the warm up and cool down portion short.
Day Two Completed.
High five.
Go you! Just looking at the still wears me out. Great to see Joshua gets a kick out of it too.
Great job on P90x it looks awful! I hate jumping, whenever there is jumping in a movie I opt to just watch in wonder! haha I love the Gilmore Girls! And its great that your little one likes to watch you work out! Both of mine cried the whole time, that's why I joined a gym with daycare!
