Running Buddy

This weekend I went on a 4 mile run with my new running partner! I am so excited I found her. I think a running buddy is going to be SO helpful for my long runs. It’s so great to have someone to motivate you and keep you accountable. I know on our run this weekend I would have stopped early if I wasn’t running with someone!

I officially have just about 3 months to go until my first half marathon of the summer. (I have 3 planned.) I am really excited, but I have a lot of work to do before then. I have really slacked off the last week and haven’t done any workouts – including P90X-  or ate healthy and boy did it show during my run on Saturday! I felt really out of shape.

I’m so excited for summer to come. It doesn’t get dark ever, but the sun start to go down around 11pm, so I can go on night runs!! I do love running on the trails though in winter wonderland…

It’s spring break!
