Alrighty friends. Let’s get together for a little fitness and health challenge! Yippee yee haw yay.
So here is what I’m thinking. We are going to have mini challenges every day or every other day. This will give us something to focus on every day! Each challenge will be something health/fitness related.
Examples for daily challenges might be something like doing 20 push ups or run a mile, or something like drink 1 gallon of water or try a new breakfast, or take the kids on an extra long walk or do 50 sit ups before bed. I will make a lot of it up as I go!
I think this will be fun and easy. It will let us break our overall goals (feeling better, maybe losing weight or toning up, being healthier, etc, etc, etc) into daily mini goals. Because we all know, the results of daily choices, decisions and actions produce the ultimate goal.
I hope to have a lot of challenges involved around doing things outside or working out with our kids.
This challenge starts June 1st and goes through the end of the month.
I want you to think about what you want to accomplish during the month of June. This might look different for everyone. Give yourself maybe one big challenge for the month of June, and then try to follow along with everything here!
I’m not going to do a linky like I’ve done in the past. I will just encourage you to be involved by leaving comments, and of course if you blog about it you can always leave a link in the comments section and we can come visit you to see more of what you’re up to!
So if you want to tag along with us during the month of June, share what your goals are!
Can’t wait to have a great month with you and maybe shed a couple pounds! 🙂
Sounds good! I'm looking forward to this!
Hmm…. a goal for June? I think the biggest one for me is to get some upper body strength! Perhaps 100 pushups per week all month is a good idea. That, and survive my upcoming 14 mile run and 1/2 marathon race!
I will be 6 weeks pp on Saturday. This is perfect timing for the challenge. Looking forward to it! (and I'm doing a Biggest Loser challenge in my town starting on the 1st too. This should help me with that!)
This is awesome! I'm 10 weeks out from having my baby and feeling not so great about my body. I've started running again but could use continued motivation! I'd like to drop ten pounds to start!
I wll definitely be participating!
I have done two Biggest Loser contests at school this year and I'm afraid in 2 weeks when school is out that I'll completely slide back into my old ways. So, my goal right now is just to continue my eating habit changes, increase exercise, and continue to lose 1-2lbs. a week.
I'm a little late. I'm 8 weeks post partum and ready to start running again! My goals for June are to start running and to work on cleaning up my diet.
