Are Pizza and Weights Allowed in the Same Blog Post?

Oh, there is much much more, but I’ll save it for another post. 🙂

This afternoon, I snuck away to the gym.  We were all hanging out on the couch, relaxing and talking while the boys took their nap. Don’t get my wrong, I loved just chillin’, but I needed to move. my. body. I was feeling like I needed to take a nap! I felt so tired, that I knew it meant I needed to exercise. Because exercise = more energy. At least for me.

I did a super quick weight workout.

I didn’t really have a plan, but here’s what I ended up doing.

– Random count of bicep curls, leg extension and leg curl.

– 2 sets of 15 reps each with 30 pound barbell:

  • squats
  • dead lifts
  • upright rows
– 2 sets of 10 push ups

2 sets of 20 step ups with 15 pound dumbbell. I added bicep curls every couple counts.

A short but sweet workout with weights!

Dinner was pretty snazzy —

Stuffed pizza from Papa Murphy’s. YUM.

I had never had it before, but it was really good! And probably only 247,3 calories per slice! 😉

  1. Is pap murphy's take and bake?

    If so I used to live by one of those in CO and it was awesome and super cheap and I really miss it. Way to go on the quick workout.
