Joshua :: 17 Months

I can’t believe you are (almost) one-and-a-half years old.

You are so funny. I put the camera in front of your face and you automatically say “eeeee” and give me a huge smile!

You take a great nap every day, usually 2.5-3 hours. You never  ever-fight naps. I lay you down and you might play for a little bit and then you fall asleep. You have a book in your bed and you usually read it until you fall asleep.

You go to bed really well at night too!

You love playing outside. You love jumping in puddles, pushing the stroller or lawn mower around, and sitting in the wagon.

Your hair is shaggy and long. It’s not really my style, but it seems to fit you well. I tried to cut it the other day, even with your daddys help, and it didn’t work too well.

You love taking a shower.

At night you sleep with two pacifiers and a little stuffed lamb.

Tonight we got to go on our first run of the season!! It was so great. I went about 7:15pm (you usually go to bed at 7:30) so it was perfect because you were tired and happy. You did great.. thank you for that 🙂

You say MAMA really good. I mean really. You have all these different ways you say it with different tones in your voice depending on what you want or need.

You are quite the tattle tale with your brother..

You love watching movies. You will actually sit on the couch or floor for 20 minutes and watch a movie. Your brother never did that.

You have broke four of my bowls. I have learned my lesson. You don’t get to eat with my bowls anymore.

After I come home from work at night (if you’re still up) I see you and I swear you got 10X cuter. You get so excited when I get home. You do a little screech noise and smile really big.

You want to do everything your brother does. He recently taught you how to climb on the couch and then play with the kitchen sink. You are not suppose to do that.

I love you so much! You are my sweet baby boy. You are getting so big and smart so fast!
