You Can DO IT!

Good morning:) Just wanted to share a little encouragement for you today. I talked to someone the other day who admitted she felt like she was addicted to sugar. She felt like it was a drug or alcohol addiction. She can’t have just one bite. She feels out of control. She feels hopeless. She feels like it’s all or nothing – and she hates that she might have to live with that feeling for the rest of her life.

I don’t love the issues I face with food and body image, but I love that my struggle allows me to connect with people. I love that I can share with someone — you are not alone!

I am finally realizing I am not alone and what a relief it is. I have spent a lot of time hiding from my problems and acting like everything was okay. I have spent a lot of energy putting on a brave face.

I bet you’ve put on a brave face too.

I want you to know that no matter where you are in life right now, no matter your past or what you’ve done or what problems or issues you carry on yourself, I want you to know that you will be okay. You will get through this. You will carry on and you will come out stronger. We have to believe this and keep fighting for the truth and the victory.

Small steps in the right direction lead to big steps over time.

Small victories every day lead to a gold trophy in the end.

Positive choices add up to successful days.

You are not alone. You have the power to turn things around and use your story to inspire others. You have the ability to overcome your struggles and be victorious.  You can do it!
