A piece of chocolate fell out of my sweatshirt at the gym tonight.
It was a small piece and I’m sure no one noticed. As tempted as I was to eat it straight from the old gym floor mats, I refrained.
I have been doing pretty well with my eating lately and I am proud of my progress. I have a long ways to go but I celebrate small victories daily. One thing I am always working on is self control. I haven’t had any chocolate or sweets for a couple weeks now. I was craving some so I bought this little bag of the most amazing dark chocolate “thin crips” with mint. drool.
They were in the organic/healthy section.
I have practiced moderation all week. In fact, I even went a day without eating any from the bag. One day I had just a piece and moved on and felt good about it. That is the balance I strive for.
Tonight I sort of ate the last 3 pieces and apparently I was in the middle of a piece while I was on my way to the gym…
But also at the gym I ran a mile on the treadmill, and that my friends is a reason for chocolate.
