It was gorgeous today – probably one of the warmest days we’ve had in awhile. Actually, that’s a fact not a question. It was around 50 degrees and sunny!
Humans are starting to come out of hibernation.
We went for a walk in the neighborhood and I said hello to at least seven strangers! The playground after school was much busier than normal. Covers are being thrown off BBQ’s as you can finally see the wood boards on your deck. Heavy boots are getting stashed away while sandals and flats are coming out of their 8 month slumber. Sleds are finding their homes in the shed, winter coats are being hung in the extra closet.
A gorgeous photograph of the full moon thanks to Marc Lester at Alaska Dispatch News.
As I finish this post, it’s 9:40pm. It is dusky out – not quite light, but certainly not dark either.
The best days are coming…
